2.G Handling Of Bulk Products, Diffuse Emissions

Last updated on 04 Dec 2014 08:38 (cf. Authors)

Within the NFR tables, category 2.G is displayed to include emissions from "other production, consumption, storage, transportation or handling of bulk products (Please specify the sources included/excluded in the notes column to the right)". Here, Germany reports particulate matter (PM) emissions from both the handling (loading and unloading) of bulk goods as well as diffuse PM emissions from industrial establishments.

Even though these emissions are reported as a sum under NFR 2.G, the party here separately provides additional data and information regarding emission from the handling of bulk products and from industrial establishments:

NFR-Code Name of Category Method AD EF Key Source for
2.G Handling of bulk products T1 NS CS TSP (L/T), PM10 (L/T), PM2.5 (L/T)
2.G Diffuse emissions from industrial establishments T1 NS CS TSP (L/T), PM10 (L/T), PM2.5 (L/T)

2 G Other production, consumption, storage, transportation or handling of bulk products (Please specify the sources included/excluded in the notes column to the right)

Given the current estimates, 2.G is the inventory's main category regarding emissions of TSP and PM10.
For more information please see the key source analysis for TSP as well as for PM10 and PM2.5.
